Palazzo Rivola is a bed & breakfast in the heart of the upper town: a frescoed façade, an inner garden with a sun terrace and the only private car park in the area.
The house
The palace dates from the seventeenth century and belonged to the Rivola family: the fresco on the façade is the original, as is the terracotta floor in some rooms. The restoration added what a guest needs today — air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, new bathrooms — without taking anything away.
What really sets the place apart is breakfast. Nothing is left standing on a buffet: eggs, pancakes, waffles and croissants are made to order while you sit in the garden or in the room with the fireplace.

Rooms 33 and 34 joined into one, with a living room and kitchen in between: up to seven guests, two separate sleeping areas and two bathrooms. The answer for a large family, or for two couples travelling together without giving up their own room.

Fifty metres from Piazza Vecchia: you cannot be more central, and yet the street is quiet — in the evening you only hear the Campanone bell. Private parking inside the property is a rarity in the upper town: you park once and leave the car until you go.
